Other than him the only other person I know Has a 325xi with cheap ass wheels and hes a total douche! HE EVEN KEYED MY CAR AND IS TELLING EVERYONE I COPIED HIS "CAR IDEAS" AND MODDED MY CAR WITH HIS IDEAS BEFORE HE DID! :ben: :censor:. So anyway calling all Kansas E46 Fanatics!
Why cats in headers? That's what the oem M3 headers kinda look like and I think there is a reason that the Euro models were designed different and always made more power. The only reason to have cats in the headers is for improved emissions, thank God in Kansas we don't have to worry about that.
I dont know, I have an O2 sim so I dont have any problems with CEL's or codes or anything. The simulator was sending a slightly off signal, but the shark helped to get it back to normal. but seriously, my car is running better than ever. Even drive-by-wire throttle lag is noticeably less than before. Oh, and I gained 2/3 mpg. 16-19 city. The diesel no longer get the best mileage in the family. (x5d gets 18.6 city)
Nice, I always thought I would get a shark when I first picked up my M3. Since then there have been way more "custom" options that have become available. The bimmerworld tune I'm getting is going to be out of this world.
I want active autowerke headers and cats right after the exhaust flanges on my TSE3. Those magnaflow headers have been a secret until recently. As far as I know we will be the only ones that really market them.

I had heard that sharks would lean the car out a bit, so that would mesh well with my rich running o2 sims. ecu tune was also the last piece missing to my "stage 1" power mods of cai, headers, and tune. Might do a muffler later, but that doesnt really count. Jake was selling some stuff and he said $250 for the shark so I went for it. :thumbsup:
gfp should get jlevisw as a supplier if possible. they seem to have a bunch of really individual parts that no one else does. things like special lighting, body, and interior peices.

Oh and brad, which would u think is more beneficial to the car with headers: a shark injector or AA TUNE? both are around $400...
Both. Street pads for the street and track pads for the track. One is not meant for the other. Street pads can not handle the heat that they will see on the track so they will a. fade faster and b. it will kill their life. Track pads aren't meant for the street because a. the harder compound will fry the rotors and b. if they are not up to temp they have very little initial bite.
Its so easy to change pads. I did it that way for two years. You have to spend more money in the beginning because you have to buy two sets of pads but it will get more life out of both.
I personally think you are gonna be in trouble. I think you will be ok in the first run group and maybe even in the second but when you start driving with people that have had proper instruction you will start to notice where someone may be better. I've been tracking for a few years now, have had numerous instructors, and for the most part a purpose built track car and I still don't have the confidence that you seem to have.

Fix it for free, that's how much it sucks here. I'm moving back to my moms next month, I don't need this bullshit anymore
