Hi to all.If someone knows,i will appreciate this.Ihave just purchased 4 replica style 193m wheels for my E46 coupe offset both +37mm(front wheel 8x18,back8.5x18).Iwant to ask you guys what dimension of tires i could put,and particularly i am thinking of 225-40-18 front and 255-35-18 back. Will i have a problem of rubbing mainly at the back?If 255 is too much what should i put? Thanks in advance.
I am wondering if ihave a problem when i will have people at the back, and some luggage with rubbing because i have heard alot with offsets and rubbing.
You'll be fine. I run 18x8.5 et35 in the rear with a 225/40. There is certainly room for the 255. Worst case scenario, a mild fender roll will clear up any rubbing issues.
245/35 18s would be fine too, but I'd go with the 235/40s as they're closer in diameter to your fronts, offer more sidewall protection, and as I said, cheaper.
245-35-18 or 235-40-18 back?If anyone has any of those i would like to see a photo and if there is a problem with any of those cases.thanks
