2 minute favor needed from an E46 M3 Coupe owner

Need someone to measure the width of the back seat from side to side in an E46 M3 coupe (no verts please). I'm trying to determine if I can fit all my kids in the back in a pinch if needed and I've looked high and low for this info online.

Basically, what is the "hip width" so that I have a good measurement?

Thanks for anyone who can provide this!

Thanks, appreciate if you're able to do this. I'm potentially going to buy one sight unseen after a PPI, so my wife will kill me if the car seats don't quite fit!

It will fit two car seats. Make sure you use the security eyes on the back deck.

I'm looking to do 1 Diono Radian (narrowest convertible 5 point car seat) + 2 boosters. I think it could work but want to be sure. I had 3 Radians across in my old G35 but it was tight...hence the need for a measurement.

I suspect I'd rarely have more than 1-2 in the car....maybe a few times per year, max.

Hey there, i measured my coupe m3 and the rear seat width 52" side to side (the seats are bolstered at the ends of the sides so measuring the actual flat portion of the seats: total width approx 36" (when measuring area closest to backrest - side bolstering increases as you approach backrest).

Hope this helps!

go to any car lot and find an E46 coupe from 1999 to 2006.. seats are the same for any e46 coupe.

not sure about the 1 car seat and 2 booster though, i fitted mine with a diono radian RXT and 1 britax and there is almost no more spot in the middle to fit a booster. YMMV though.

Yeah, I don't think it is possible. Even if I put them all in Radians, that is 45in. wide. I may just do it anyway knowing I can only put in 2 at a time.
