Camshaft Position Sensor triggered by cylinder misfire?

If there is a misfire in one of the cylinders, will this always lead to triggering the
camshaft position sensor error? I received two codes on my Peake reader, and
the CPS (intake and exhaust) have been replaced already within a year.

Everything ran fine for 6 months, and now the CPS msg is back...

I read somewhere there was a service bulletin for the coils, so maybe this is
the reason for the misfire. If anyone has info abt the bulletin, what yr of e46 was it for? Thanks.

This always happens after the engine has warmed up from driving 30 mins or more. If I start the engine after this warmup period and slow down/accelerate
from a stop, the engine will turn off.

It never happens after the car is started from a cold start (engine has turned
off for more than 2hrs).

Anyone ???
