Anyone with Epic Headers and Supersprint Connecting Pipe

Hi All:

I'm upgrading to Epic headers on the M3 from the current Euro headers.

Does anyone currently run the Epic headers with a Supersprint mid-section connecting pipe (http://www.supersprintna.com/product...rch_model/86)? I'm wondering how fit is.

I've spoken to Randy at Epic and he's confident they will fit, just looking for some real world experience. Thanks in advance.

I do. They're a bitch to install, the passenger motor mount needs to come off and the motor needs to be raised a bit so you can slip the headers in.

Epic headers installed over the weekend. It wasn't bad at all, albeit cold concrete and fair amount of arm bruising. Didn't have to remove or loosen the motor mounts nor the coolant overflow tank.

Unbolted Supesprint center section, dropped Euro headers (sold to a friend in Atlanta) then fitted the Epics to see how they lined up with Supersprint mid-section and they were spot on.

After fitting and marking the Supersprints, I took them to a local muffler shop to have the flange cut off and the ends expanded with an exhaust pipe expander ($20). They slipped right on.

Ordered two 1.5" band clamps for the exhaust/center section joint from NAPA and all seems well.

Off next week to have Randy from Epic do the final tune on the Dyno next week.
