Hey PolePosition

Question, you heap love on the PMAS MAF sensor. can you tell me how well the resolution and how far you had to scale the MAF to get the Target AFR and the actual AFR to be relatively close?

Are you still able to use the entire range of the PMAS MAF (650-800+whp with 3" tubing) without losing idle resolution?

Also, you had some serious problems earlier when you had the exhaust done a while back. What was the problem with the MAF? You just said "MAF is not an issue anymore" and left it at that.

I'm thinking I might replace the standard MAF with the PMAS MAF as I start to lay some infrastructure... I may go turbo, I may not. But either way, I would like to lay the infrastructure in if I do go that direction.

Just Another M54 Turbo Build. By the People, for the People

Yeah I ran the maf while NA for a while. Nothing was wrong with it, I just thought there was I believe. As far as scaling, Hobbit set that up very quickly. So far it's been faultless. I don't know many details about the resolution etc. my car has always idled well so I guess it's good.

that looks like a 6262 GTXRep They are already known good past 650 wheel horsepower on 2-2.5liter engines.

I was looking at using a 6262 DBB GTXRep, myself. I'm excited to see how this turns out.

Close, it's a 6262 turbo by BoostLab. They have their own line of turbos now, with a 1 year warranty and everything. Pretty good deal at 1k as well.

Thabks zha50!

As for the ac, I would like to get it going. Not sure what's been wrong with it, but after this motor install it will be the highest priority item. It works when I put power to the compressor, so it's just something simple I need to find.

Some more installs

Not sure, here's the link. Its sizing worked with my bore diameter, 84.5, so i just ordered it.

Motor is all together. Downpipe mocked up as much as I can do outside the car. Looking forward to this long weekend to get it all installed and started up!

Yep, as usual lol. Only thing that sucks is I'm still stuck on the nexen tires for now. Struggled with them last time, called, and they said yeah they arent designed for lap time but to last forever to survive drift comps. Kinda pissed as that isnt as described at all, and they now justttt came out with the "g" version for racing. Those bridgestones are fast! either way itll be a good time, you get the supercharger on?

Hopefully the extra power helps overcome the tire for now!

Yup got the supercharger on and took the car to a local autocross last weekend to shake it down, hoping to get some little stuff plus aero buttoned up this weekend so we can try for an all BMW podium!
