lights above visor

Hello,
I have a 2004 33ci which I bought about 2months ago and was wondering what the two plastic pieces above the sun visors are. I cannot find them in my manual.
They look like interior lights but do not illuminate when the other interior lights come on. If they are lights how do I remove the cover to replace the bulbs or is there a switch somewhere to turn them on?
thanks

Yes, those are lights. You might have better luck with responses if you post in the lighting forum. They should pop out with a small flat bladed screwdriver, there's also a DIY either in the Lighting or DIY section if you search.

Okay. I will try that. Do you know if they pop out with the small flat bladed screw driver pushing from the center of car toward door or from door toward center?

They should operate when you slide the visor mirror cover open with key in position 1 or 2.

this. You have to open the visors, move the mirror shade to the side, and have the key on
