Much appreciate for help
Currently I want to go deeper into CAN-bus, having interest how it works, and also need this knowledge for future engine swaps, because CAN bus is everywhere. I have ordered CAN bus shield for Arduino from Sparkfun, can't wait to start deal with it. This also will help me to retrofit newer car's modules into older cars and so on...

Reworked FBD receiver, KGM and Comfort Access modules from E60. I'm gonna try to make E60 remote key work with our E46's GM modules

Impressive progress! Not sure yet if I'll attempt something like this but I can't wait to see it all installed and working.

If you mean tamper dot on instrument cluster display, I will answer: no, it won't come. I have a tamper dot, just because I have swapped my cluster with M3 one, and VIN codes are different in LZS and instrument cluster.

Yeah
In my knowledge, all past 2007 BMW's came without steering lock.
Personally I, don't need it. If someone wants to steal your car, steering lock won't help
Cheers

This pcb is designed and built by me. All it does, is sensing +12v from alternator and makes CAS know that engine is started, and starter must be disengaged.
If someone who wants to install same in the car and can't assemble this pcb board itself, or can't order it somewhere, should not start this project. All I can do, is to post here blueprints of this board, parts list, bin file and schematics.
Components of this pcb, are very cheap, and can be easily sourced on ebay. Maximums price for this components is somewhere 10$.
