330xi Misfire Codes

Couple days ago while driving city streets the car started running lumpy and the SES light came on. Drove the car home. Got these codes

p0300 - Random Multiple Cylinder Misfire

p1345
P1347
p1348 Pending
p1350 Pending
All read Manufacturer Control. Ignition System or Misfire.

What are the possible causes?

Unrelated code I think p1620 - Manufacturer Control Auxiliary Inputs Auxiliary Outputs, which what I was told is the thermostat. I know I have a slight coolant leak in the area of the thermostat and water pump and was planning a coolant system overhaul before the misfire codes showed up.

The car never overheated. Oil and Coolant are the right color and level.

Edit: Check your spark plugs, I typed in the wrong number in my search before. If not spark plugs, I'd check position sensors.

Make sure you take care of those coolant leaks ASAP.

So far three people made that same mistake about the cam sensors lol. I'll check the spark plugs. Thank You

Replace the spark plugs ASAP also. Misfires strain the coil on plug systems, and those are expensive to replace x 6.

Quick update

1- Not the spark plugs or coil packs/boots

2- Engine starts right up. Idles fine for about 5 seconds then starts misfiring.

3- After about 2 minutes of idling I will hear a pop in the intake manifold. Sounds like a backfire. For the first week of having the misfires I didn't drive the car. Only started it a few times and let it idle for about 5-10 minutes. One day I gave it a light rev, about 2000-3000 rpms. Right after that is when the popping noise started.

4- Air filter good. MAF sensor good. Intake boots, upper and lower, good.

5- Disa Valve flap was broken. Pin was hanging on for dear life when I pulled out the DISA.

6- Oil Separator looked fairly new. Hoses were in good shape except one of the hoses was missing a clamp. Not sure which one of the four hoses it was. Work was definitely done on the CCV. Might have been replaced by first owner. Second owner wasn't sure when I asked him.

7- Also forgot to mention I got a Secondary Air Pump code a few weeks prior to getting the misfires. The code never came back. The air pump runs, but runs loud.

8- I have no smoke coming out of my tailpipe which I've read could indicate a bad CCV.

Also would like to remind you I am getting no lean codes. Just the multiple cylinder misfires with fuel cut off. Cylinders 2,3,4, pending 5
Not sure if this is somehow related, but it started to misfire while on my way to get gas. It was low on gas, but not low enough for the light to come on. While getting gas it overflowed when filling up. This never happened before. I use Super/Premium gas only. Never regular. On the way home from the gas station I took the highway and couldn't get the car to go over 60. Like if the car stopped adding fuel to the engine. The car runs smooth however when at highway speeds.

So far I've placed a new clamp on the hose that was missing one. And today I ordered a new Disa. Could the DISA be the cause of the multiple misfire/fuel cutoffs AND the backfiring in the intake manifold?

Did you replace the DISA? A broken DISC Valve will effect idling and performance/drivability depending on where the flap is stuck.

Check the flux capacitor first.

Got a misfire code in every single cylinder in mine but the car didn't always misfire.
Turns out that my secondary air pump was unplugged or something, but I always heard it turn on when I turned the key over.
On top of that, it was the breather system/oil separator...hopefully that's it. Should have it back mid-week hopefully that's all it is. If not, looks like I'll have to look at all the other possibilities.
Good luck to both of us haha

Like posted earlier, When/if the DISA gets stuck or breaks, it can create unequal cylinder filling, causing misfires. Basically some cylinders will be rich and others will be lean.
I'm guessing your misfire faults are gone? You didn't indicate, just said running again.

Yea the misfire codes are gone. Drove the car around a bunch of times. Checked the codes and they're all gone. Now I just need to replace my cooling system and she's good to go for years to come.

Here is the deal. The car has been running great for the past couple of weeks. However, every now and then i'll get a pending p1345-47 code on my actron scanner. After driving the car once the pending code will disappear on it's own. I've also been driving this car around for two weeks and it's still not ready for inspection. 02 sensors, h02 sensor, SAP, Evap system all say NOT READY. Has this happened to anybody before?
