Question Going to Chicago (Downers Grove to be exact)...any restaurant recommendations?

I'm heading out to Downers Grove, IL (suburb of Chicago) for business trip for 3 days the week of Aug 19th...do you guys have any recommendations for good restaurants for dinner?

Not looking for fine dining since I can't spend a ton on dinner...I'm looking for good food recommendations of restaurants that I can't find in So Cal.

Edwardos on Main St. If it's still there. Also Omega on Ogden. It has great breakfast. I haven't been there since we lived there in 1994 (OMG, that was almost 20 years ago!)

The area is nice. My uncle lived there for 4 years and he enjoyed the area.

http://www.konagrill.com For cheaply-priced sushi and cheap drinks (happy hour after 10:00 p.m.). Nice atmosphere, not snobby. I love going there at night and sitting outside with friends. It's not far from Downers. And there's a lot more restaurants located in the general vicinity.

When I lived there I went to Scooby's on Ogden Ave near Downers High School at least once a week for lunch. Order the Italian sausage with red sauce (aka marinera) and get there fries. You also have to get the Green River soda. Haven't seen it anywhere other then Chicago. I haven't lived there in 7 years or so and the same people still work there.
It is a little hole in the wall, but I go to Chicago probably once a year and always make a point of stopping by for a quick bite.

Went to Greek Isles for dinner...had the chargrilled sea bass...good stuff. Tomorrow I'm gonna head out to Reza's for dinner and DMK Burger Bar for lunch.

Is the Egg Harbor Cafe and/or The Baked Apple Breakfast Company good for breakfast? The Patio Restaurant and Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse look promising too....any opinions?

That's what I get for assuming your name + avatar = you live in Cali, where there aren't any Kona locations.
