Yep, I know what you're on about. I did just that with mine, wheels off, gave the hubs a good clean with hot soapy water and quick scour with wire brush. Dry, then a few coats of high temp flat black from Supercheap. Made the wheels look heaps better as the hubs were a bit rusty. I also painted the brake calipers flat black at the same time. Just make sure its flat or matt black. Any kind of gloss will look stoopid. Wheels looked heaps better afterwards. No need to mask rotors as the first time you brake the paint comes off...

yea mine are rusty as, will have to be done then

it does make a big difference to the overall look.

the rusty hubs are horrible. I need to do the same to mine.
