Sherlock-TV series-BBC

Ive just watched the first episode and I really like it. If youre done watching mini series like game of thrones, or downton abbey season 2 (christmas special was good!)

I recommend you catch up on season one of sherlock.

yeah its kind of cheesy at certain moments but well concieved and made.

yeah they have the entire first season on Netflix, and the new season should come out sometime this year.

interestingly, the actor that plays Watson, has the lead role as Bilbo Baggins, in the upcoming lord of the rings flick, "the hobbit". And the actor that plays Sherlock, is the voice, of the main antagonist- Smaug, in the same movie.

Good because it was so disappointing with only 3 episodes.

yeah but each episode was an hour and half long- which is a lot longer than most tv series broadcasts. Basically each episode is a movie in itself.

Most TV series have way more 3 episodes surpassing 4.5 hours.

I have already extolled the virtues of this on E46!

Lara Pulver in Ep.1 S2 is lovely!

Watson = Martin Freeman. Was in our original version of the Office. Now becoming quite a big star.

Holmes = Benedict Cumberbatch - Also to be seen in War Horse.

Both great actors imho.

Not in the uk. Many popular british shows are only 25 minutes, and a season is no more than six episodes long.

In the UK they're waiting for season 3 as season 2 is already over.

"The Blind Banker"
"The Great Game"

Season 2
"A Scandal in Belgravia"
"The Hounds of Baskerville"
"The Reichenbach Fall"
