2009 GTR or 997.2 C2S cabrio?

Lol. Yeah I'm not a fan of high miles but at my price point I could at least enter the used GTR and C2S market. Haven't test driven a cayman yet so that could potentially be in the running. The GTR is the only exception I was considering to a vert. Vert fo lyfe brah.

Keep the suggestions coming. Will test drive a vette too. Never saw that in my life. Ever.

I'm actually a HUGE Porsche fan and no, all 997's are not turbo charged. Let me ask you a serious question: not counting the times you used a mirror, when was the last time you sae your dick? Fat bastard.

Well I'd definitely drive a new Boxster S if you're looking at 997s. I'll leave it at that for the sake of keeping the thread on track.

After driving the vette you'll want one. It's fun unlike the gt-r which practically drives itself. No skill needed to go fast in a gt-r.

Rolling burnouts are fun at highway speeds.

Since i'm not overly obsessed with spewing my own pointless opinion to others when it isn't asked, I'll just give my advice and keep this simple

911

When one starts a thread with a question in the title on a forum, they are asking everyone. This is not a formal dinner.

I was talking about other people thinking that their suggestion matters. The OP made it very simple... 911 or GT-R.

When you have responses like "get a vette, gt2, 2 m3's, boxster, save money, GT500 (are you kidding me?)" it just goes to show you how infatuated people are in their own opinion than they are answering the most simple of questions

A or B

not C, D, E plus C but minus D, etc...

obviously i'm just ball busting, but some people's posts go to show you how much they are in love with themselves

^lol appreciate the respect but I expect some lulz when posting any question in the OT...all suggestions are welcome, including your "own pointless opinion when it isn't asked"

Pretty tough call

997 would be my choice.

That being said both are highly irresponsible purchases unless you make 80k plus a year,no kids, own home(not owe 80% on it either), could afford to put 50% down on the car and you accomplished all this young.

pretty much this.

not to turn this thread into a financial discussion. But i have looked into buying high end cars on several occasions and have always wussed out.

i talk crap to my buddies who have really nice cars saying, "have fun working when your 60 when im retired in my paid off beach house".

but in reality im just jelly.

Finances aside, I'd go for the 911. The GT-R is still a nissan at the end of the day.

, ya Highway racing is where it is at....

I think the GT-R is fun, but I only track it and skill is needed to achieve faster lap times.

Not as much skill as needed to tame a RWD torque monster...both are good cars. The vette is the drivers car of the two IMO. You actually have to make it do what you want. Not relying on driver aids. But that's just my opinion.
