While the interior isn't amazing, I'd go with the GTR.

The GT-R's interior may be "crap" but it's still miles ahead of the **** interior GM had the nerve to endow the Corvette with.

Actually man, why don't you get a Lexus is-f, i had the chance to drive one around an auto-X course today along with all the f sport models and a new BMW 335i and the is-f was fast as hell, the fastest car I have ever had the pleasure to drive, you could get yourself in a brand new or 1 year old one for your price range, and you have the warranty so you can really beat on it and have no worries

Heres a pic of an LFA from the event I was at

I never really liked the aesthetics of an LS-F. I'd probably go C63 AMG before I go that way. But after that Black Series suggestion my mind has opened up. I re-watched that top gear clip and I'm in love.

That being said both are highly irresponsible purchases unless you make 80k plus a year,no kids, own home(not owe 80% on it either), could afford to put 50% down on the car and you accomplished all this young.
It's not my business to tell anybody what to do with their money, but making "only" $80k and driving a GT-R seems nuts to me. Not that $80k is a bad income AT ALL, but I can't imagine buying any car where my annual income isn't at least double the car's price.

That said, a used GT-R scares me. My impression of them on the used market is that they're kind of like a high end WRX STi... i.e. a used one is basically guaranteed to be beat to hell.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

the value of the car relative to your income is irrelevant. What is relevant is if you are financing or leasing the car that I believe your gross income should be five times the value of the amount being financed. If you saved up a lot of money, I don't think it matters what the total price of the car is. Life priorities like buying a house, retirement investments, etc. vary by people and to each their own.

I also totally agree on the used GTR phobia, so I think i will prioritize that lower on my list. I watched a few vids of the ZR1 and North American journalists sing its praises while Europeans prefer their cars lol. I am definitely going to drive it though. I'm not as clear about the 911 now.

Just making 80k and making 80k with 30k to put down on a car after owning a house(with some equity in it) are two different things.

I agree with you about the 80k though which it was a minimum to play(if you meet other qualifications) IMO.

A GTR is a car that meets all the performance standards but just seems a bit off to me compared to other high end sports cars.

I should also mention I'm not that interested in performance cars. I think its mostly about the area you live in and what you do day to day. Kinda hard to enjoy a Porsche with no fun twisty roads although track days are around here.
