Anyone running 255/35/18 on a 18x9.5?

I'm looking into a square set of 18x9.5 on the M after I get coilovers and want to know if anyone else is going with this tire/wheel setup and if so how is the stretch or if there's any other suggestions?

There is no stretch with that setup. I ran that on the rears when I had my VMR VB3s

Damn really? So I would have to go pretty wide if I wanted to stretch with the minimum recommended 255/35. Would 18x10 be a stretch or 18x10.5?

The first two pictures are a 215/35 on a 9.5. Just to give you an idea of the kinda stretch you're looking for! They're Falken FK453s. The last pic is a 255/35 on a 9.5, Nitto Motivos.

Or you could go with a wider wheel! An M looks better with something over a 10. My buddy was running a 245 on a 10.5 and it was a good stretch. Might wanna try tyrestretch.com to give you an idea on how much of a stretch you'll get with certain size and brand tires

That's what I'll probably do, I can get pretty good deals on tires since my cousin is the Regional manger of discount tire around here but I only get deals on tires that's are pretty available and a 255/35/18 is probably the widest I can go without it being super hard for me to find tires so I want to work with that size. I'm thinking a 255 on a 10.5 would be good but the wheels I want don't come that wide so there's the problem.

Re: Anyone running 255/35/18 on a 18x9.5?

I currently have this setup on my 18x9.5 v710s, perfect sizing with zero stretch. I was tempted to go to 265 even, but 255 is perfect

+1

255/35/18 will not look stretched on an 18x9.5. That size is within manufacturer specifications for the tires.
