Have a look at another one from that site priced at 86k. You'll notice the rego ran out in 2010 - http://digiads.com.au/carsales/used-...htm#adPhotoTop
Mmmm your right, seems very out dated.

I believe this is the same car just with different plates (5 years ago). If it is the same, it was always looked after as it used to bang around in my old neighbourhood. The other Adelaide car I know of is a 2004 model and has the 18" Type 67s

Looks like the car for sale has no tint. Also front seats look pretty worn for 66K kms...

If you really want one, next time you see one out and about make an offer to the owner. Otherwise you'll have to wait until a good one comes up on carsales.

I know a few guys who are looking for E46 M3s and they're all saying the same thing; it's near next to impossible to find a good example with the 6-speed gearbox regardless of the colour.

Cheers for the feedback lads, some useful, some
not. Bit o banter never hurt.

So re. Finalflash's link (thanks mate!), the '06 Smg, does anyone have any experience with Castle Motors Norwood in Adelaide?

I remember another forum member bought a black e46 m3 recently from
an Adelaide dealer and had a big bust up over liability of repairs/warranty issues.

It ain't a manual, but the k's are right. I'll have to invite everyone to the wedding if we get hitched.

Worx is probably the best place to go, unless you just want to throw money away for the same thing go to southern bm

Twas Adelaide Motors

We love each other now (that they finally repaired everything they originally agreed to)

hey gang,

what are you thoughts on what this will be worth (objectively, disregarding the colour) http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d.../?Cr=5&sdmvc=1

what i've sussed so far is:
* '03 (pre-october facelift)
* 120's, smg, no clutch replacement in it's history
* full service history (including recent inspection ii)
* no receipts from work in last 2 years, apart from usage and interval based servicing (i.e. no surplus maintainence or repairs)
* minor service due immediately
* no major body issues, paint is clean
* no rwc, yet (seller hasn't had time)
* ppi coming this week
* aftermarket csl rims, coilovers, tinting. basic options
* front seats scruffy, 6/10

Considering your options on car sales are this one or.... This one. Wait for ppi and then lay down cash

Non facelift looks dated without the LED lights.
120k while average for the age, is still a lot of kms.
Budget on a new clutch in the first year anyway.
25k servicing has shown to not be all that good.
Those front seats look worse than a 6/10 to me.
TV option useless now unless its digital.

You want a rare colour so you are going to have to compromise. You should have jumped on that 2006 66k model that was posted.
