Talking Update!

So for like the 3 people following this:

I got an email this morning from ESS. They said the kit is set to ship out Wednesday. So If the 3 day shipping holds any value, and there isn't any BS with customs, I should have the kit Saturday! Install will wait for the following week/weekend.

On a side note, I got done, this last weekend, installing new Stoptech steel braided brake lines and got some new ATE 200 brake fluid. boiling point of +500 degrees. AND!!!, I ordered an H&R/Bilstein Sport Suspension Package, from Turner Motorsports. That is shipping out today. So I should also have that this weekend. My car wont know what to do with itself!!!

I will update as more comes!

Long live 323!

Are you doing the install yourself?

Did you do a compression test before purchase?

I'd love to get a TS2 for my 323...

I am doing the install my self. I have not performed a compression test, However I have no reason to suspect low compression or any issue. I have good power and throttle response, and the car has never been over heated. I perform all regular services on time! I cant wait to get my TS2! I rode in a 330 with a TS2 installed, and that car had some savage power!

Nice, I will definitely be following. Makes me want to go get s TS2 now!

Might be a stupid question, but in their online photos it shows 325/330 stock airbox. You don't have to convert do you? I am not sure if these are just generic photos but we all know our 323 airbox don't look like that. Unless you plan on running an aftermarket intake system.

I'm sure those are generic photos. I'm running an AFE stage 2 intake anyway, So more air to the screws. I also have headers with no cats and a magnaflow exhaust. I'm also decently sure that there power figures are based on a stock E46. So hopefully I could be pushing a little more power than it says. I don't plan on doing any aggressive driving for at least the first 1,000mi

The wait is harder than the install.

Update: Picture heavy.

Progress so far. Noticed some oil in by the valves. I'm thinking a bad oil separator/crank case vent. It's never been changed. But now wont be used anyway. Or its oil leaking from the valve guides, but that's a lot of leaking for 5 hours of sitting.

Ha ha, yeah. I just got out of the Army, and I got 2 months of paid leave. So I got some free time on my hands! I'm hoping to be moving on to install tomorrow. I'm going to be doing some cleaning tonight, though!
