This is what all the tree hugging liberals wanted and Republicans can do nothing about it because they're all about State rights.

Republicans in my state are moving toward a legalization bill. I cannot think of one good argument against the legalization of weed.

They couldn't think of one good reason to make it illegal when they made it illegal! Even the AMA advised against making it illegal.

I predict one of two things happening:

A. States scramble to decriminalize marijuana... not so people can use it, but so they can open the doors to hemp. It's a potential cash cow and no one wants to be left in the dust and regret missed opportunities especially in the South where it may be easier to grow.

B. It changes nothing.

Potential cash cow? If spending could be curtailed a little bit, Ganja will bring this country out of debt.

the pot head dream. How exactly could this potential billion dollar business erase trillions of dollars worth of debt? It would truly be a miracle drug.

The Government would find a way to spend more once they reap the tax revenue benefits of allowing a hemp industry to thrive in this country.
