I bought a Pendlay Elite for my first real barbell. It was close to $600. Lifetime warranty, it spins for days and the knurling it so perfect....

When you think about how much this stuff gets used and how long it last and how much better a good barbell is than a cheap one, its well worth it.

Try and find out what kind of barbell it was, I'm curious. At $450 its probably either a DHS or a Pendlay NexGen

Do you mean the texture of it?

Yeah, just the perfect amount of grip without tearing up the hands.

I just text him. It's a Pendlay. He said "it goes for a lot more, closer to $600. But we got a deal because we placed a big order".

Thing is phenomenal though! I've never felt a barbell quite like it.

Don't get shot in Canton, do as told. Wear baggy cloth, try to blend in, don't shave your face.

You should swing by to the CF fit gym I go to. Their business has been doing great. Just doubled their work area. We can have a workout (regular gym not CF) a visitor is allowed a free session.

They have both. http://www.stayforeverfit.com/crossfit.html

They have CF signs all over the place. The trainer who does CF leases a small room from the gym owner and has his own clients. After a year, CF trainer leased a second room, joined the two together and sat up a really nice workout area for both Bootcamp and CF. I was gonna join but it's too damn expensive.

Lmao... Canton is middle upper class and about 99.99% white... Only way he'd get shot is if he was taking a walk through the woods and a hunter mistook him for a deer.
