Not caring about their car!!!!

I was at Albertsons the other day and parked next to a white 325i. Thought it was a nice car until I parked next to it....

I think they work there because I seen this car before in the parking lot a few times. Why cant people take better care of their vehicles?

On the other note. I received compliments on my car today. Made my day

This. I treat mine like the unreliable, costly beater it is.

Lol I see worse on a daily commute.

I'll never be able to drive a car in poorly maintained condition, no matter what the year, make model, etc. Everything has to be clean and in working order.

An Albertson's minimum-wage employee making sub-$150/month payments on his very-used, decade-old car ain't going to give a good god damn about how his commuter beater looks. Probably the only reason he bought the car is because it was the cheapest on the pay-here used car lot the day he signed the contract for it. I'd be surprised if he bothers to lock it...

Because to 90% of people, a car is nothing more than an appliance.

Try detailing cars that get traded in for a couple years, you will see some ****.

That's not really that bad. The little plastic boomerang shaped piece on the kink falls off very easily.

You are bothered easily.

E46's are very cheap to buy but I will say that in that class of vehicle(~5k) they still look very nice.

I got rid of mine and didn't care about it much at the end. It was a beater and a bad one at that.

I bought a CPO 328i and got a beater Jeep Grand cherokee that can do beater things better. It hasn't given me an issue in a year, can tow my boat, haul lumber for my house, and 4x4 V8 takes me where I want to go.

Re: Not caring about their car!!!!

I know that the car is old. Just wished that people would take better car of their cars.

2 weeks ago I saw a car pull into a gas station. This car was fill with crap to the windows and missing a front bumper, it was rusted as hell.

Maybe they are doing PM instead of caring about looks, if they didn't care about the car then maybe it wouldn't drive well or who knows maybe it doesn't and then they really don't care

My car is missing the same clip from the window trim this car is, however I do care about my car it's up to date with its PM I'll just get up to date with that stuff as it comes

Looks like a clean body otherwise. They probably dropped the taillight to damage it like that. "Not caring about their car" would mean a brake caliper exploded and 1 wheel is completely yellow, you can't tell if it's supposed to be a white or off-white car, it's all crashed up, and the interior is a pig sty. This car appears to be slightly misguided and nothing more.

edit: I do see a dealer sticker on the left side of the trunk. People who leave those things on are definitely IDIOTS, so yeah.

Hell yeah. I waxed the bejesus out of my shower wall and bathroom sink a while ago. Nothing sticks to that anymore.

What kind of sticky things are getting on your shower wall

In a perfect world everyone would take care of their cars and be respectful of their own property, but we don't live in that place. That car is in comparatively decent shape considering that.

Re: Not caring about their car!!!!

The other side was just as bad.... when I was young I was taught to keep you belonging always clean. If you take care of it, it will last longer.
On the other hand if he was doing pm that is good and all, but you can also keep the exterior looking good while doing it.

Maybe I am over exaggerating, but i like for my car to look nice and have it kept up.
