Re: Tuning an 325i 2003

Watch the fast and furious. It makes fun of people like you.

Bolt on mods:
Cold air intake
Headers
Exhaust
Shark injector/dinan software/sprintbooster

Real mods:
Swap in s54 engine
Supercharger

You have a 325i. Accept it.
Its not faster than most cars on the road today.
You have 184 bhp and 175 tq.

Focus your time and money into suspension which is likely original and broken.

Re: Tuning an 325i 2003

Lol . Well I already checked my suspension and changed it when I changed to 18" rims already have headers and exhaust and changed the transmission to manual with 6 gears . And a lsd was newly mounted on the car and I'm waiting what improvement should I do to get more hp ... I won't adapt the 3.2 M3 engine ... I'm thinking about putting a turbo kit on the car or supercharge so if u can advise me which tune is safer and more applicable

Re: Tuning an 325i 2003

Have you reinforced your subframe? Also s54 swap will give you more base horsepower than a turbo or supercharger.

So your telling me that you can do all that work on your car but have no idea on how to add a few HP's?

Re: Tuning an 325i 2003

All these are simple mods and didn't give so many hps but the real thing is m3 engine swap or supercharger or.turbo these things takes the car to another level which I'm not that expert in it where u have too many options and too much to spend so I should be wise before hitting anything and regret it later

Get your rear end clunk taken care of first.

This and 2003 325i weight with a driver is about 3400Lbs, so even if you put a low pressure turbo kit or supercharger and you gain 60 horsepower, you will still have 244hp engine that puts about 220 at the wheels, and that is nothing impressive on 3400lb car.

So keep dreaming.

Yeah I mean for the money if your going to invest in doing it right imo s54 swap and supercharge that.

Learn how to drive and do suspension work and good tires. The only place you'll keep up with anything is on the twistys and that's if you've got big enough balls.
