See like I said the wheels are nice without the plastidip. And how tinted are the tail lights? As far as the cooling, do it as soon as you can buy make sure you do it yourself, otherwise it's very expensive.

Ok they are smoked that is perfectly fine. They look good! When you said tint I figured they were blacked out which I might hate more than blacked out wheels.

Man that 3.0l inline 6 sounds SO NICE. Opened up the throttle on a clear stretch of road through the end of 3rd, great great sounding engine. My dad just got the F30 328xi, the little 2.0l is nice, pretty quick, but it sounds...like a diesel. No good on the sound.

Two things. 1 -- anyone tried an adjustable clutch stop? Feel like that would be a very nice thing to have. 2 -- body control of my e46 is outstanding, and steering for the most part is outstanding, but a pretty big dead zone in the steering at faster speeds. What usually fixes this?

Well thanks, I appreciate it.

To be honest, I didn't even know the color existed before I found the car. I knew that I wanted a stick e46, but basically that was my only parameter. Lucked out on this guy.

I've only driven my car around 3,500 miles or so sense I bought it only, had it about half year. The wrenching I've done so far. Is just the regular oil change, I had to change a brake line hose as well. How does your shifter lever feel my was totally worn out and swiggly even in gear and when I shifted I heard a loud thud noise. I fixed that by getting a new guibo and shifter bushings. The stuff I should do and would recommend. Is possibly the vanos. I don't think mine is working with my high mileage. Yours might be good though I mean it was owned by a tec. I want do the cooling system saving my tips up right now. Dude why you gotta be all the way in Chicago I need a bro to wrench with. I use to have a e46 bro but he went off to college. Now I wrench with my e39 bro.

My shifter does feel a bit wiggly in gear but not overwhelmingly so. Will go on my list of things to replace.(I am actually making a list by the way).

Wish I could be in Ventura...my grandparents live in montecito and I love it every time I go. Way nicer weather, and living in general than midwest IMO.

Yeah that's a beautiful area. I almost bought a black on black 330ci over in Santa Barbra, didn't work out though. Also I read your interested in a clutch stop. I did this totally worth it and under 10$.

Guys what can help to reduce slop? Complete tie rod replacement? Or just tie rod ends?

^^ The H/K system isn't known for its quality. BSW sells a great replacement set of speakers for about $650 and yet when people sell the H/K system from a car, they ask for $700-$800 and usually get that much.

$650 is A LOT of money for car speakers. I mean, $200 replacements would sound much better than the harman kardon...

A lot of people like the BSW speakers and say they are worth it.

I'm not too familiar with how stick shifts should feel, as this is essentially the first one I've driven, but should I be worried if shift movements aren't too smooth? Especially into second.
