I'm afraid that these rumors are going to raise our expectations a bit too high.

Looks like the most probable render so far. I like it, especially those thin bezels.

Snapdragon 800 sounds nice if the price is right. What I really wish is that they would improve the camera.

Forget it. Made by LG.

LG retina macbooks have terrible ghosting and yellow screens. I went through 2 ipad 5s with yellow LG screens, and 2-3 iphone 5s.

My LG TV still has terrible motion blur, and was released without the proper firmware. They falsely market their TVs with higher framerates than they actualy have with that nonsense "TruMotion Hz" terminology. It took them over 6 months after release to even introduce their algorithm for motion smoothing, and a year after release, it still doesn't work right. How can a company do that? Put a feature on the box, and release it without it? Ridiculous.

Every LG phone I've come across has been wretched. Even all the way back to that absurd Chocolate.

This company is FOSh.

How have you gone through two ipad 5's when they haven't even been released yet?

Will it be 30 dollars more expensive like the nexus 7 was?

Probably, at least that much more. That's my guess at least. No way they can sell 1080p and Snapdragon 800 for $300 lol

Some poor photography skills. I like what I see, though. Even though my One X is working really nicely, especially after the latest update, I can't not want this!

edit: Someone should turn on autofocus on that Olympus.

Looks nice, but if it's anything like the new N7, the build quality won't be anything like the iphone.

I really wish Google would come out with a killer phone (i.e., quality similar to the One and iphone). Of course it would cost more, but I think people would pay the premium.

I see more cracked iphones than any other smartphone. I don't even use a case on my Galaxy Nexus and it's still picture perfect.

And I have seen plenty of busted Android phones. I've had my 4s (no case) for 2 years, dropped it a few times (albeit not from a great height) and it's just fine. The N4 and GS4 feel pretty flimsy. The One is a different story. I don't think I'm crazy to hope that Google would build a flagship phone for Android. It is their own OS, afterall.

If the rubberized feel from the new Nexus 7 is carried over that will be a plus on my book, I like the rugged and durable feel of it, almost like a case is built in. If the inside is the same as a G2, and they can sell it at or close to Nexus 4 prices, this thing will be quite the accomplishment.

That's not what the Nexus line is about.

More pics:

http://mobilesyrup.com/2013/09/16/ne...t-boot-screen/

Videos in the link too but they are crap.

Also, it turns out that a Verizon model is a possibility.

Quote:
Leaks so far suggest there will be at least two different Nexus 5 models. The model leaked last week (called LG-D820) had wireless radios that could support AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile LTE. The Nexus 5 photos above are part of a separate, updated filing for the LG G2 (LG-VS980), which mention support for LTE band 13, which is used by Verizon in the US. If the Nexus 5 photos weren't mistakenly included as part of the G2's older filing, the new Google device would appear to be a largely modified version of the G2. For now, it isn't clear what Google and LG's plans are for this new Nexus device, but these filings suggest that there is some possibility that all four carriers could get the smartphone.
