New possible leaks of Android 4.4:

http://9to5google.com/2013/09/21/new...ps/#more-70682

Doesn't look like any earth shattering design changes, just minor UI tweaks and new color schemes, continuing the trend they were already doing with their apps. It's a little disappointing to see no new SMS - Hangouts integration though.

Mr. Jingle from G+ lol

Looks fake to me. It has the same SoC as the G2, how exactly is it outscoring it?

N5 is basically going to be a LG G2 with different software.

Happy with my N4. Nothing I see here is making me regret buying w/ price drop.

But at the same time, the verge called the screen on the G2 the best looking they'd seen on a phone yet, topping the HTC One.

I'm betting the screen will look fantastic. Maybe they just had a bad batch of tablet screens.

I read the G2 review the other day and they actually scored it much higher than I thought. The only real negatives were the weird button placement on the back, and the junk software add-ons and skin.

Since the nexus won't have either of those drawbacks, it should be top notch. Or so I hope.

Re: Nexus 5 leak?

Guy on Mac forums got a hold of a test unit, posted another pic. Gave a little info, not much though, apparently to keep Google off his back lol.

It seems to be a pretty popular device over there lol.

$299 for the phone sounds a like a good deal if the rumors are true.

Sounds too good to be true. The phone sounds pretty damn good even at higher prices, though.

I agree, even though supposedly everything is now known about it through the service manual leak, I'm still bracing for something to be missing. Last year it was LTE. There has to be something that a $650 phone has that this won't. Too good to be true lol.

If I'm wrong though, then damn what a phone.

True, I would probably give them an extra $100 over what the N4 started at and still be just as wowed. Anything more will start to erase that 'wow what a deal' factor (assuming all the leaks are accurate). $450 for a 32gb model would still be very impressive.

Can't wait to find out for sure. They've gotta be setting a date soon.

So far it looks like it'll have an 8MP camera, so welcome to 2010...

Latest rumors are $299 for 16GB, w/2300mAh battery or $399 for 32GB, w/3000mAh battery.

There's nothing wrong with 8mp, and according to the service manual it will have OIS like the Lumia 1020 and G2.

I'm not putting any money the 2 different battery sizes rumor.

question about the nexus line: will they always receive the latest android build? if i buy a nexus 4, will it continue to receive 4.4+?

I am told that my N4 should be upgradable to 4.4 easily, once it comes out. More easily than 3rd party handsets. The device should prompt me when its available.
