2001 325i radio

OEM radio doesn't have the mode button. Got another business cd from a 2002 330 with the MODE button. Did the swap but doesn't do nothing when I hit mode to change it to aux. is something I'm missing? Need to add? Or can't work at all the swap? Or need to reprogram the computer of car? Please need help.

What exactly did you do for the aux input and what is plugged in?

Did regular swap, and I purchase the auxiliary rear cable for 09/2002 e46 radio. As soon I turn radio and click mode, nothing happens doesn't go no where.
