Im asking about sound man, Im really not trying to shoot down ideas but trying to steer the conversation. Everyone is on the subject of install meanwhile I just wanted to know how they think each option will sound or which would be the better out of the options in terms of sound

Ideas for in cabin sub-woofer for the sealed sedan

I don't personally think any of your options are going to sound good. Let alone be practical. Is that what you wanted out if this thread?

On the not of underneath your rear deck all you do is cut a hole in the metal. Very easy. Many of people have done this and 1 guy put 2 12s in his rear deck.

That and why are you afraid of cutting a small hole out of an already almost non existing rear deck? If you attach a box to both sides of the hole you are structurally maintaining the same strength. That and I promise you will never notice a difference with a hole cut in your rear deck.

Get a Sundown SA8, and put it in the ski pass and you'll be beyond happy make sure you use a ported box. If you want to try an SA10 with the same concept it will be even louder

Put a pair of TangBand W6-1139si or W6-1139sif woofers in the rear deck. You don't need trebel/midrange in the back anyway, so keep it to just bass there.

Opening up holes in the rear deck can be done modestly and achieve strong results.

You do have to build mounting baffles, but you can completely hide two 8s (dropped in from the top) under the factory rear deck trim...

And dropping them in from the top minimizes the impact on trunk space...

Plenty of bottom end from two ID8s

You are doing a custom modification to your car. Be prepared to cut, drill, etc., either way it goes. I'm local, if you need some help.

Re: Ideas for in cabin sub-woofer for the sealed sedan

I have a slim kicker 10" with sealed enclosure. It is super slim which saved me a lot of trunk space and sounds great.

Yeah most likely. I'll probably knock out that center section and them mount the sub box back a couple inches
