I drive my M3 on the track and street. I do not want to use PowerFlex. Anyone have experience with Rogue Engineering's FCABS, street or track poly? I am on the stock suspension, but do use R-Comps and have added negative camber. Recommendations appreciated. Thanks!
I'll go halfway between poly and Mango's recommendation and suggest Meyle HDs. Still rubber so they aren't harsh for daily street use, but they're still roughly 20% stiffer for sharper response and ability to handle track days.
Thanks guys. I have gone through two sets of PowerFlex. Both have failed on the passenger side within one track event and a negligible amount of street driving. Any ideas? Will stock hold up? I replaced the stock bushing (assuming original) at 100k miles because it too had failed on the passenger side. Driver's side is always fine.
Always the passenger side and always that quickly makes me think there's a contributing factor. Have you ever replaced the control and ball joints? Maybe they're more worn out on the passenger side and that's harder on that fcab...
treehouse and be done with it... the PF tends to melt if not properly heat shielded. There is no added NVH with the treehouse, never had a problem on two different M3s.
Thought PF would design the bushing as a bolt on part and not something that would f'n melt with the stock shield. Bad design as far as I am concerned.
