30
5'10"
173lbs

Dead:385
Squat:270
Front squat:230
Bench:225
Press:160

According to what I see a lot of othe guys lifting, my press is much better based on others that dead, bench, and squat what I do. I'm a pretty bad squatter and I work my ass off on it.

I think your dead is your best number. That's a good # for your weight.

27 years old (28 next month)
185lbs or so

Bench: 305
Squat: 405
Dead: 455

I'd like to get those up to 400/500/600 at some point, just to say within a one month period I hit the 1500lb club.

Edit: that's with a belt on the squat and dead, but no other wraps/straps/briefs/suits/sleeves/shirts/whatever.

Well I never saw it as a need. Being a baseball player, it was more restricting than mobile. I did a lot of db twist bench, mobility stuff on the trx, ect. I've been mixing it in since I'm done with ball now, but I really see it as more of a "look" then a "strength" thing. I'm sure I could 1rm around 265-270 right now.

I used to be the type of bro-science dude who stressed chest/back workouts and neglected legs, so my squat is disproportionately weak. I really wish I'd been squatting for as long as I've been bench pressing

I don't do 1RMs often. But after figuring out my health issues, expect change, like Obama said.

this thread is depressing me ... but then i realized i can't worry about what other people are putting up
although i'm late to the game, i'll just keep working on myself
and by the end of my 1 year workout plan, i will have results i can be proud of
