Usually it's the other way around when I'm at a deficit for so long (can hold onto my deads/squat PRs better & BP/OHP suffer more), but I'm not surprised at how it worked out this time around since I changed my cardio approach... I knew it was going to negatively affect my lower days.

I've used this analogy a lot on this site but think of it like this. If there's a "how much do you make thread" do you think people will come in and say I make $12 an hour or do you think the people making 6 figured will chime in? I didn't expect to see anyone coming in with a 135lb bench press.
