It uses a standard 308 bolt, it's a short-action, very accurate, and plenty for all the big game hunting I do (deer, wild pigs, and elk).
I have been looking at all of the 6.5s; primarily the 6.5CM, 6.5x47 Lapua and .260Rem. The Creedmoor seems to be the best option out there. It's the most readily available commercially, it has the most number of commercial loads, and it sounds like it doesn't eat up the barrels as fast. Also can't argue with the insanely flat trajectory and low recoil.

How far have you stretched that rifle out?

Did the words "Gun Talk" not make sense? I mean, last I checked talking about shooting animals was gun-related.

Or are you upset about there being a Gun Talk sub-forum on E46fanatics? If so, you're welcome to get really really butthurt and whine about it a lot like a candyass and post comments about how bothersome it is to your inner-child.

I picked up my 2013 Wisconsin gun-deer opening day buck back from the taxidermist today!

This is the deer that I also caught me shooting him on video via my trail camera here:

The buck's left eye was actually bad & poked out! After I dropped him off, I got a call from my taxidermist that night asking how I wanted his left eye! I chose to have it in as it "should be" versus having it squinted/swolen shut.. lol

Here he is on the wall:
