Sweet exhaust smell.

Odd sweet exhaust smell at idle... Just replaced the entire exhaust last week... Clutch.. Etc
. oil looks clean. I'm not sure what it could be. With my luck the hg is starting to leak. I'm not seeing any smoke though. Maybe it was the half bottle of seafoam I dumped in the gas tank while working on it?

If I get a chance I'll cpt or comp. Test it. Just wondering if there were any other ideas. I think I got everything covered though.

Coolant is mixing with your oil, either because of a head gasket leak or warped head (or both).

Edit: If the exhaust components are new sometimes they can put off an odd smell that eventually burns off. A possibility.

My Ride: is slow
If it smells sweet it's likely coolant.

+1 for coolant smells sweet. Monitor your levels after each drive to see if it's dropping at all.

If it's not, I think it just may be because of the new exhaust.
