Anyway, tribology is a complex subject that nobody agrees on. Nobody here should even be talking about it in any sort of depth unless you have a PhD in the subject. That's why there are those of us who are smart enough to know that we do not know and our recommendation is simply to use lubricants that meet the manufactures specifications.

When I needed the Texaco ETL fluid I bought it in liters at BavAuto for a reasonable price.

I bought 7. I needed just under 6.

These days I'd just use any brand name Dexron VI of the shelves at Wal-Mart (for my GM tranny).

Since he wears it all the time he's on 24 hour watch duty! DMAX is bringing him NY pizza and water from the hudson river. Maybe a couple of beagle steaks thrown in from fresh road kills every now and then.
