Republicans are truly stupid

Im a university student, majoring in molecular and microbiology. I work part time at a pizza place for now. I support republican ideals and values, one of which "there is no substitute for hard work" and that there's no shame in starting from the bottom and working for minimum wage. I don't hate wealthy people,(like most democrat voters) yet I admire their success, and aspire to achieve their high level of success. Obviously both political parties have their radical individuals, as does every family. Everybody knows a relative that is a little "crazy" or "unintelligent", but does that mean that the entire family is unintelligent? Same goes for political parties.

Would you vote for a republican ticket that includes Sarah Palin?

Quite the contradiction you have going there. You claim most Democrat voters hate the wealthy, yet later imply the outliers aren't representative of the whole. I would say that those who truly hate the wealthy are not a majority or even a near majority of the Democratic party.

Why do you think those are "Republican" ideals? Those are American ideals, IMO.

That's a gross generalization and illustrates a "us vs them" mentality which is not very conducive to productive discourse.

How do you feel about this: "But many researchers have reached a conclusion that turns conventional wisdom on its head: Americans enjoy less economic mobility than their peers in Canada and much of Western Europe. The mobility gap has been widely discussed in academic circles, but a sour season of mass unemployment and street protests has moved the discussion toward center stage."

Go to the inner cities, and see if you find anyone that didn't vote for Obama. The people in the "hood" or inner city absolutely despise the rich, and are generally not wealthy. I'm not saying all democrats hate the rich, just a disproportionately high amount when compared to republicans.

Most of the elected officials we are referring to are already wealthy themselves and are exempt from most of the legislation they impose on the general public. The difference between them and other high net worth individuals is usually how the attained their wealth.

Again, anecdotal evidence and generalizations are counter-productive. You're equating "the hood" with "Democrats." We won't get very far.

Look at this statement: "I'm not saying all Republicans hate black people, just a disproportionately high amount when compared to Democrats."

Maybe it's true. Maybe it's not. But it doesn't sit right, does it?

busa, you are so full of it. You are only slightly less absurd than Lair - and have none of his whack-job-crazy-uncle appeal - in your generalizations and demonizations of those who disagree with you. That you lecture e90dima is the height of hypocrisy.

I'm not a Democrat or a Republican, but if you are hitching your wagon to a single youtube video, you need to be a bit more informed. Do you want me to post idiot TP videos? What about KKK members who voted for McCain/Romney? Would I then be able to infer that all people who voted for McCain/Romney are like that?

I understand where your coming from, but the original poster said " republicans are stupid." I just posted a video showing that some democrats aren't at the pinnacle of intelligence either.

I believe the vast majority of the world population isn't far from mental retardation to begin with.

I hardly ever see or hear about these KKK members, implying that there is a very small portion, yet just drive by the welfare offices in any major city and it's literally filled with people like the ones in the video, and you guessed it, they all voted for Obama...a democrat. I highly doubt that ALL those people in the welfare lines are hardworking intelligent Americans, and somehow just had a lot of bad luck and need some help, sure some.... But NOT ALL. OP Don't Say Republicans are truly dumb!!!

But you constantly hear about republicans who attempt to outlaw anal sex, blowjobs, gay marriage, abortion, and birth control pills - all while campaigning on a platform of "FREEDOM" and "SMALL GOVERNMENT".

And there are enough stupid republican voters to put some of these goons in power.

"Stupid". .
