Talking Jon's 2000 E39 ///M5 Oxford Green / Caramel Nappa / Walnut

So I've been a board member for over 5 years now, and finally had the opportunity to get into one of my ultimate dream cars. Fortunate enough to grow up in a BMW family, I was exposed to them all the time. I knew I had to have one... Back in the day being young and stupid, I thought I would be able to jump right into an E36 M3, but that never happened. Never had the money saved up to do so, just a dreamer. But I was able to however acquire a 2000 323Ci within the family about 6 years ago. (Some of you have seen the progress thread - but that car is now gone). Now that I am stable in the work place, and have saved up some cash, I was able to take the plunge and get into what I believe is the ultimate driving machine. A 2000 E39 M5. Took me over a year to find the right one, but once I saw it, I knew this was the one.

E39 2000 M5 (09/1999)
Oxfordgruen 2 Metallic (430)
Walk Nappa/Caramel
Walnut Interior Trim
Executive/Luxury/Lumbar/Heated Seats
52,500 miles
Navigation
PDC
Xenon Lights
Anthracite Headliner
35% Tint
etc.

According to some production number's this combination is <1% ever produced:
1 of 71 ever produced

I'll give you one photo for now, and will be hosting a ton of photos later this week.

Thanks Charlie. You need to come down sooner rather than later to get some Fall pictures in.

For now, take care of some routine maintenance items, than probably SS X-pipe and either an Eisenmann/Tubi/Meisterschaft exhaust Possible an Evolve Tune

Seller included a set of winter tires with brand new rubber, and some angel eye head lights. I think i'll be selling the winter set (since I don't need them), and most likely putting the angel eyes in whenever I get the chance.

That's a cool color combo. It's a bit weird though, I can see where the debate comes in. Your car has the luxury seats and the leather center console, but no leather dash or full leather doorcards, also all caramel cars had the caramel lower dash and center console; BUT the prefacelift models were different (up until a certain build date). The Caramel Nappa Leather interior came with black leather center consoles and regular dash/lower doorcards. Look it up.

BTW name is Bayou in M5Board, hope to see you around.

I saw this listed on M5B. What a steal it was! Congrats on such an epic find.

It appears you have the normal extended leather interior where the upper dash and center console surround are leather.
The Complete leather interior has full door cards, lower dash, glovebox - all covered in leather.

All US interiors came with what was classified as extended leather. The difference being: sport interiors did not have leather upper dash whereas luxury interiors (yours) did.

I may be slightly incorrect, but I believe the above covers the US interiors.

Gold BBS LMs = game over.
