Probably trading the mustang in on that in the next couple weeks. Need four doors again.

The ATS is great, drove a 3.6 AWD model. Read leather and CF interior. Beautiful car. It's definitely a spaceship though. And not kid friendly.

Drove a genesis 5.0l R-spec. Hated it. It and the ATS are opposite ends of the mid $40k cars.

Drove a Taurus SHO. Really like it. It's big, and it feels big. Powerful, roomy, comfy.

The impala is powerful. It's big and roomy, but it doesn't feel like a big car. Stereo is really good. Technology is great. I think it's going to be the one

I'm fully of the opinion that there is no connection to the road while you're sitting in a cage

Buying a new or newer E30 poses quite a large challenge these days. They also lack the following features that are imperative to the function of a modern automobile:

- Rain-sensing wipers
- Dynamic damper control option
- Heated steering wheel option
- Automatic high beams option
- Brake force display
- Multi-stage stability control
- Remote window closing
- PDC option with "radar" display
- Touch-sensitive door handles for locking/unlocking option
- Able to be controlled from your iPhone to remotely lock/unlock/start
- LED headlights option
- Dynamic headlights that turn with the car
- BMW Apps
- Radar-guided cruise control
- Dynamic steering option
- No maintenance costs for 4 years

And I bet that fvcker will never break down.

How did this thread end up at auto crossing cars? Other than showing me an awesome beater car (pics?), I'm not really sure what the point of your post was. Don't get your undies all in a bunch because you love the badge on your car more than the car itself. Like I and others have said, if you want to pay more than double for your car in order to get a phone app, some neat gizmos that are inherently pointless, and some nicer plastics be my guest. No one is saying that the M3 is a bad car at all, it's actually a fantastic car.

If I were in the market for spending $50k on a car, I'd take an ATS over a 3 series all day.

Will your non-M 3 series include an LSD among its performance options?

Re: Cadillac, Audi, Mercedes vs BMW

Not too sure why we are all fighting between american and German companies...they both stand for different things. American car companies know that Americans love straight up power, so that's what they're gonna make. German companies have always not always just been about overall performance (which the m3 has stood as a symbol of that over the years) but ride quality and luxury. Car companies all stand for different things. You cannot compare a car company to a car company successfully..I mean, you want luxury, buy a Benz...you want brute power, but a ford/Chevy. Personally I think BMW is starting to lose its performance minded ways after the release of the f series of cars..the 3 series now is a luxury drive..ya you can get the turbo version, but it doesn't feel as sporty and tracky as the e46..even the e90 330 feels heavy moving around compared to an e46 330. Hopefully BMW can turn around and get back to that sportyness that they were known for. Don't get me wrong, the m4 is a fantastic car..but I'd still take an e46 m3 over them all.

So now you've resorted to name calling. The maturity of this place goes downhill every year.

Your summary of the M3 earns you the title. That's your problem not mine. All you've been talking about this whole thread is your ****ing mustang. No one gives a ****. This is a BMW forum.
