More than anything, I hope that cop never works in law enforcement again.

Our tax dollars going to lawsuits folks. It's like a lottery. Everyone pays into it, but few walk away with a prize.

That's why we need law that forces officers to hold personal insurance

Lawsuits would be funded by THEM and not on the taxpayer for incidents like these.

That officer should be thrown in jail for at least 5 years, bankrupted and then barred from a position of power for life. (felon)

But no... Taxpayers will fund the lawsuit, paid vacation for the pig and sensitivity training...

LOL! Well played sir! I'm having trouble giving a sh!t about this woman if she was DUI though. Hell with her AND her face in that case. Too bad every other DUI-er doesn't get their face smacked like that. Maybe it would smack some sense into the fools.

True on both counts, but I want to believe that idiots sometimes get whats coming to them. No sympathy for DUI, ever.

Psssh personal accountability doesn't exist in America anymore. Who needs it when you can rely on the government to pick up tabs?

this would have gotten 1000 upvotes on Reddit lol.

The cop may not have wanted to specifically break her face on the bench, but I've thrown kids out of bars like that when I was a bouncer and I always had intent to cause them harm when I tossed them like that.

Non-specific harm, but harm nonetheless.

We really need stricter laws regarding police misconduct.

I think that's actually absolutely a great idea, people especially people in law enforcement should be held responsible for their own actions, they have more leeway on laws than anyone else (not legally but common let's be real here, we all know cops get away with **** we wouldn't get away with) but when they f up they should be punished more severely as well

He did not try to bust her face, but he shoved her way too hard into that cell.

I don't think she tripped at all, she lost balance from being shoved above the waist.

Regardless, the results are the same.

I always side with the cops when it is questionable. This is not.

It really helps her case that she is not even yelling or pointing or anything.

Did you watch the video in the link I posted? She was entirely cooperative the whole time up until he put her arms behind her back and started pushing her into the cell
