wow i'm so glad my neurologist appointment is tomorrow. the numbness/soreness in my right shoulder has gone from being a slight nuisance to becoming legitimate pain in the past couple days.

I feel your pain man. When my back was jacked up I was so discouraged. It sucked so bad. I'm almost a year out from being completely injury free.

I know that feeling from when i wrecked my back. You're lucky that it healed so well. Mine is still problematic (although i now know how to handle it) and the doc says it'll probably be like this for the rest of my life...

Re: What are your current ailments/injuries?

Hands have been cramping up and falling asleep real bad almost every night from work. It's been a year now since I dislocated my knee and it still feels like its going to blow out doing squats and jump boxes.

Re: What are your current ailments/injuries?

My workout schedule has been out of wack and my left arm is suffering from it. Skipped Saturdays workout so i hit shoulders on Sunday. When shoulder pressing 90 lb db's, my left shoulder was agitated a bit (still finished the set and the workout fine, but could notice a real slight issue for a little bit post workout). Monday was chest day, no skipping that. About 3/4 way through i noticed my left elbow really starting to act up a bit. Played cautiously but still finished pretty strong. Today was my birthday so i celebrated with a bi and tri workout instead of the usual leg day. About 1/3 way through left shoulder and elbow really started to act up. Still made it through the workout pretty strong though, just playing quite cautiously. Was very unpleasantly sore for about 90 min after. Feels pretty good now but tomorrow will definitely be legs. Thursday will be played by ear.

Had i just stuck to my normal schedule this wouldn't be an issue.... I know I'll be back to good soon though and won't miss out, just need to rewrite the plan to accommodate.

i've been having a lot of trouble racking/unracking the bar on the seated shoulder press benches for barbells (the ones where the barbell is racked behind your neck). does anyone know the specific part of the shoulder the racking/unracking movement targets? i think it's my rotator cuff

For that particular lift, it's always recommended to have a spotter.........especially when you get into the heavy weight. Don't try to ego lift this one. Things can go wrong real fast!

I've gotten to the point where I need a spot on these, if for anything just to help unrack the weight.
