I'll take that as an admission of total defeat and failure. Thanks. I expect no less from you.

I'll sometimes wear slightly "out there" socks, generally something black or navy with a goofy design (Jolly Roger, T-Rex, etc.) But there's a strong correlation between how seriously I take a meeting and how conservatively I dress (and sometimes that doesn't mean formal, as some of our clients are really casual.)

I can't view the picture but, looking at the url, I recognize the name from a StyleForum poster. His style is, let's say, one that could only be appreciated by a person under the influence of some sort of hallucinogenic drug.

Perhaps it's my monitor, but is Letterman wearing white socks?

robbing with a sword is a good thing

But on a regular basis, no. Its not good to be a peacock/show off when it comes to clothing in a business environment. Its less about bad taste and more about rubbing people the wrong way.

lol.

Socks match the pants. Maybe the shoes. But, pants.
Exception is the clown comment.

I have some tube socks with three stripes up top to sell if you have shorts from 1978. Multiple colors,

Nice shoes = yes. Suspenders = yes and okay. Straps = idk what that means. Cufflinks = not for me.

A good stapler works and is funny cause all it does is staple like the plastic one from 8th grade.

Agreed. Letterman can wear the socks he chooses.

that's what i thought too. until i realized i have a real career and staple more than 30 pages at once, which most non-heavy duty staplers cannot do.

Cool socks but id wear WAY lighter, tan shoes. Also, loud socks with pinstripes is a bit much, just like a striped tie on a striped shirt (faux pas).

Ur on the right track, carry on grasshopper.

I loan my parents money, you little puke.
I haven't taken a penny from my parents. I'm not surprised you lend your parents money. Costs a lot of money to ride your Harley from a trailer park to a KKK meeting in DC. Plus I never figured someone in that demographic to have a steady income other than collecting there checks on the 1st and 15th. Burrrrr. Winters coming... Shouldn't you be flying south?
