Miami DIY Garage Yourself!

Just a fyi for Miami/Broward folks. I went last week with my E36 to a diy garage in Miami and thought it was an awesome concept. It's a shop called Garage Yourself just west off of 95 and 79th Street, I think it's like 77th terrace/place just east of 27th Ave. I went to do my Guibo and a couple other little things, so awesome to have a lift and tools available. Owner is very helpful and a real car guy, rates are very good, but what a joy to wrench on my own car since I live in a building and have no power or whatever to do my own projects!! I think they have like ten lifts and a dyno too.

Yeah I love the idea of these and have been looking into to some of them. As someone who owns a sh*t load of tools, but no space, I've been entertaining the idea of starting one of these up. Hard to anticipate the demand for it, but it'd be nice to have my own shop space with a bit of income.

Just the idea of being able to put your car on the lift instead of going to dealership or Indy is well worth the idea. Definitely better then jack stands lol. They have a Facebook page but I don't have the link at though.

Sounds awesome! There are some of these in Virginia where I lived 2008-2010. I now moved from NYC to Miami. By the way, anyone know a good Indy shop in the Miami/Broward area? Need a few maintenance things done and RTABS replaced and my time is a little tight at the moment. Thank you!
