Tuby's build thread

Hello and welcome to my build thread i currently own a 2000 328ci with 147,000 miles and i purchased her about 4 months ago and have loved ever minute i have had with it.
I want to do Alot to my bimmer but lack the money and I will do a little here and a little there but i hope you will follow me throw my journey.

First day of ownership 100% stock besides tint. The dealer i bought it from never told me what percent it is i want to say 5% because it is really dark

With my car being stock it was very quiet so i cut off the resonator and really liked the sound of it and my buddy convinced me to buy a magnaflow glasspack. When i got it the muffler was in the middle of the car and had no tip so i have been welding and making a pipe back to get a tip

Did you rotate the wheels after plastidipping them?

They look like OEM 18" M3 staggered wheels, and if you rotated them you're running wider tires in the front than the rear. It's hard to say from your pictures, but in certain ones it looks off.

Your decision to "black out" your tail lights is really quite unsafe. Not only does it look terrible, you are endangering other drivers on the road.

Man give the guy a break. There is tons of people who do much worse things to their cars like tinting headlights to the point where it is completely impossible to see at night. My tail lights are tinted and I can assure you that they are perfectly visible at all times without any problems. Here are some pics just for reference

Wrong. They are considerably darkened and the lights ability to be seen is hindered. You were desperate to "mod" your car, and used what looks like a spray can to "black out" your tail lights.

It is your car, no doubt about that. You are free to ruin it in as many ways as you would like. My concern is not necessarily just for your safety, but also for drivers that would not be able to see your car in less than ideal lighting.

See below for what perfectly visible tail lights look like :

As a younger person, I didn't quite grasp the importance of safety. Do yourself a favor and save/wait for proper & safe mods.
