E46 Lowering (springs?)

I am trying to lower my 2000 328i, but I am on a bit of a budget. I was originally going to go with Coilovers, but they are pretty pricey on bimmers. Wondering if you guys could recommend some good lowering springs. I heard Eibach is good, feel free to post links!

What is pretty pricey for you? For under $1000 you can get some nice lowering springs from H&R and pair them with new struts and shocks from Koni. You will be very happy with the results. It is recommended that if you lower your car you get upgraded struts and shocks as well.

^ This. H&R Sport springs along with Koni Yellows would be a good setup. Or you can go with the H&R Touring Cup kit which would be a little easier on the wallet. Check out TireRack.com

Got a Eibach Pro kit full set up. Very nice. Just make sure you do the strut tower bearings and bumps also. Front and rear but all depends on your budget. One thing with these cars I learned they dont like the cheap stuff.

H&R Sports and Koni Yellows are a fantastic pair. Been riding on this setup for a couple of years on my E46 M3 and have loved every mile .
