newbie bmw female 330ci convertable arctic white 2004 58.000miles

Hello fellow bimmer owners , Kerri here! hi ! I am a new bmw owner ! I finally got up the courage to buy one ! my first week with her was silky smooth ! I was in love ! the 2nd week the top stuck halfway up , after a week or two of not being able to open the top , I was hating this car ! and ready to trade it in on a mazda miata ! I know ! I know ! anyway I prevailed and after nights of searching the internet I found you chaps ! to cut a long story shorter , it was the green and white wire in the side rail! who knew ?? you blokes did ! and I am now able to go topless once again ! Yayyyy!! and yes I am back in love with my car ! its a 2004 alpine white 330ci convertible, blue top, grey leather seats, sports package, six speed auto ( im old ) she has had one owner before me 58000 on the clock I am one giddy chickerdee dee ..thanks for letting me ramble xx

thank you mr Irish that was a good read , every thing looks like new on this car , so great advice on the rubber and fluids , I have made a list and will start changing fluids filters and rubber bits over the next couple of weeks . Kerri

Yes she is a beauty and runs like a dream! Very smooth. I had those tires on at first and the "just in case" is a good feeling but regular tires feel better and grip better! Depends which though I personally have had Michelin pilot sports and pirelli p zero Nero and they both lasted long and felt really good!

thank you Nick vjr ! i am really glad I joined ! . after the top problem was fixed , the passenger mirror wont go back up after returning to drive , ( I really didn't like that feature ) I have taken the fuse out , ! that will teach it to mess with me Ha Ha !! on a lighter note our first cold front came through today! 60s and 70s wohhhoooo top down yessss!! all the best chaps ..Kerri .

That feature is defeated by positioning the mirror adjust switch to the passenger mirror, no need to remove fuse.
