Turn Signal Issue

I have an '01 330 Ci. Lately I have been having issues with both sides of car regarding the turn signals. The often flash fast as if there is a light burned out. The dash does indicate only when the right side does it but it turns off after they flash fast for a few seconds, they always stop and flash as normal. Upon inspection they are all working, even when they flash fast. It doesn't do it every time but lately more so. Anyone had any similar issues? .

Thanks guys.

Mine does that. I think the circuits are just very sensitive. Whenever I get the fast blink, the dash indicator says which side, then I pull the bulb and re-seat it; problem goes away for a few more months.

Bumping this issue.

Sometimes they flash faster than normal, then other times normal. Sometimes all in the same signal/turn... normal, fast, normal. Both sides are subject to this behavior. Sometimes turning the wheel seems to toggle it, but not always. No bulbs are blown, but all have been replaced/checked more than once.

Any ideas?

I pretty much fixed this issue on my car. Took both sockets out and cleaned the contacts, then bent them farther than usual to really tighten the grip on the bulb. Then made sure the bulb contacts were smooth and there has been no blinking or intermittancy since.
