Wheel noob needs fitment help

I have never dealt with changing wheel styles on a car before and I am buying new wheels in a few days. I have a great offer for a set that are 225/40/18 square with an offset of 35. I drive a 99' pre facelift 328i with stock suspension. Just wondering if these will fit my car without spacers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Wheels are VMR 701 if that helps.

What width are they? 8.5" wide, or 9.5" wide? That will make a pretty big difference in answering your question.

You won't need spacers for those wheels to fit. If you want them a little flusher in the rear, you could run a 5-10mm spacer. Not required though.

That setup will fit perfectly fine, with no modification at all.

Currently have the wheels on and I love them. But I am getting H&R Springs and Koni STR Struts, will I have any problems with rubbing?

You will probably be fine without doing any modification. If you have rubbing issues though, just do a bit of rolling and you'll be good to go.
