Your Boy Jon Stewart rips Obamacare apart

Gotta break your liberal hearts, right.

So, now John Stewart is to be taken seriously by conservatives? That's nice.

And he's still a comedian, at the end of the day, lol.

I didn't realize conservatives thought Jon Stewart was a liberal

He's a comedian, not a serious political commentator. He's said this a multitude of times. If you're watching The Daily Show for serious political reasons, you're doing it wrong and should proceed to dislodge the large stick lodged in your rectum.

He takes dumb **** that people do in the news, and he rips it apart. Ever considered that republicans tend to get mentioned more on his show because they're doing dumb stuff more?

Are people in politics this stupid? Like when Bush asked Colbert to speak at the 2006 White House Correspondants?

Stop using a show on Comedy Central to discuss politics. This would be like using South Park in an actual debate. You're doing it wrong.

Who said I take him serious, I know some liberals around here stroke it to him every night.

Many liberals get their news directly from Jon Stewart and many of the same tout his political acumen. Read the polls. I believe the point of this thread is that if even he's saying it sucks it probably sucks. In litigation we refer to this as a statement against interest.

I do think its funny that people think the government is capable or controlling something like healthcare when they can't even get a website right...with 600+ million and 3 years.

You neocons really have your panties in a twist, don't you?

Don't worry. Soon your leaders will trot out another savior du jour, and you'll feel all warm and fuzzy until you figure out he/she is just another brainless puppet.

They're all brainless puppets, makes no difference whether there is a D or an R next to the name.

The other 99.9% of the time Jon Stewart is not funny, right?

Or does his show now have some credibility? This is why people don't want to admit any wrong or give an inch to the other side. You're given a hand and you take the whole arm.

Say what you want, but The Daily Show has ten times the integrity of any of the cable news channels.

Additionally, there was no significant difference between the groups in thinking Colbert was funny, conservatives were more likely to report that Colbert only pretends to be joking and genuinely meant what he said

I would watch the Daily Show if they would slap a Fox News label on it.

I think Government has it's place in healthcare, I'm just not convinced it has to be this involved.

It's funny to see your own medicine. If he wasn't posted on this site multiple times in an effort to make a point, I would never even thought to post that video, it's not even real.. Everyone thinks Stewart is funny, however for some reason the liberal community has the inability to differentiate between satire and reality, so they take this show like real ****ing news. People actually form political opinions and feel Stewart is actually backing some of their viewpoints. It is frightening. In a nutshell, the retards ruined what would normally be a good comedy show for everyone else.

It's just like the Conservative community with Glenn Beck.

With both Beck and Stewart, they have the ability to make salient points, but the basis of their shows should be taken as satire.
