the point seems to be to make as many anti-police assumptions as possible before the whole story comes out.

I am sure you could say a great many things about this and we dont know the entire story. But if I know anything about the law it is that an officer cannot legally assume someone is underage. They cannot legally assume the weapon someone is carrying is illegal to have because they do not have a permit or because they appear "too young" and he cannot assume they are breaking any law.

Of course if you make that argument at this point you would be assuming that the kid didnt do anything stupid he shouldnt have. Too early to tell, but what do you guys think?

Anyone think police should be barred from carrying weapons outside of their viechle or maybe barred from weapons in general? Similar to the UK style of policing.

Interested in what you guys have to say about this
so you're interested in what us guys have to say about this, knowing that there's no real story to tell yet.

The point is to gather wild assumptions regarding the unknown facts?

Oh, so you're asking a question completely unrelated to the non-story you originally posted?

No, I don't think police should have their second amendment rights infringed upon.

Next unrelated question?

My answer is 'No.'

Kids these days OP is no smarter than a 13yo carrying what appears to be a rifle, in a public space in California.

Really though, its a shame that kid had to die from his own stupidity. He could have grown up to unlock the key to swapping an N54 in an E46.

You just cannot assume he died from his own stupidity. Assumptions in the OT are outrageous

True, we do hear more about these instance now because of these vehicles. While I don't agree that we're necessarily becoming a "police state," I do think there are quite a few police officers that get away with things because it's his word against whomevers.

B, can you add a poll to the OP with his intended question, just to clear up the inherent confusion in this thread?
