N00B (kinda) needs HELP!

Hey all, I'm a newb to e46's and BMW in general but not really a newb to I.C.E. (I was an MECP cert tech over 15 years ago - Thanks Best Buy lol!!!)

So I've recently purchased an 03 ZHP and am looking for an upgrade in the stereo dept. I have the HK system with the "Business CD" HU w/ the "mode" button. I prefer to keep the stock look as well as retaining steering wheel controls. With that said, I'd like to somehow integrate my android phone (Gal. S4) with the stereo in the easiest most cost effect way, while maintaining QoS.

What are my options? I'd like to play pandora and mp3's from my phone as well as make hands free calls over BT.

Any ideas? The aftermarket is so big I'm a little overwhelmed. Thanks!

Long term goals would be a upgrading the speakers and adding ipod connectivity (although that part would be nice to have now if possible). Once again, I have no clue as to what my options are. I know of BSW's stg1 upgrade but $699 is rather steep, esp. w/o an amp and no sub.

Let me know what your thoughts are on both goals and if possible, I'd like to do the upgrades in steps, building to a final goal.

Thanks!

You might want to try actually reading and searching the forum first as there are a multitude of options....

N00B (kinda) needs HELP!

I replaced the speakers on my '01 330Ci with:
Front:
- SEAS tweets
- Vifa 2" full range mids
- Diamond 6.25" woofer
Rear: infinity 2-ways with Kappa tweets

I bought the front tweets and mids from Madison Sound (www.madisound.com). The installation of the mids required wrapping the speakers' frames with tape as they are a bit undersized. The installation of the tweets required some work with a dremel. The sound is amazingly better: clearer, tighter mid to upper freqs.
I have an old DICE iPhone adapter that worx fine.

And you worked at Best Buy and can't make a decision....

You might as well just get the Eonon D5150 as it will give you the most bang for your buck.

Yes I worked at best buy in the late 90's. A LOT has changed since then, wouldn't you say? I haven't done anything regarding in car entertainment since 2004. It's been almost a decade. Gimmie a break lol.
