Hey all, just moved into a place in Port Orchard and I'm looking to meet some new people. Any regular meet ups in the Bremerton area?

I'm just in Gig Harbor/Purdy. You'll probably see me driving through quite a bit since I work in Bremerton. Most of the meets are done with since summer is over but there are some random meet ups here and there, but I haven't seen one on this side of the Tacoma bridge yet.

No normal meet ups in the Kitsap area that I know of. There is a crowd that meets up at Dick's Drive-In on Holman Rd. on Tuesdays though. It's a bit of a drive for you, and it's bigger in the summer time. There are a lot of E30 guys that go.

Maybe we need to start something for our area.

I don't know anywhere really to meet that's outside of gig harbor. Port orchard has a nice waterfront with lots of space.

Meet and grab a bite sounds good. I'm not sure what everyone's schedules look like but I'm pretty open.

On a side note, I work up in Silverdale and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place to grab lunch during the work week.

Well my Saturday just got taken up (if the parts get here in time). Discovered a leaking VANOS oil line and I think a hairline crack in my expansion tank from overfilling it when I replaced my cooling system. Lesson learned....

A great bite to eat during the work week is at Hop Jacks. The burgers there are amazing and the beer is the coldest in town, literally, the taps are frozen. If you get a chance you need to stop in and check it out.

If you guys need any help working on your cars I know a guy that does side work, he knows these things inside out. PM me if you are interested.

Alright back to the task at hand...it really is going to depend on the weather, the Sportsman's Warehouse in Silverdale has a decent parking lot that is lit up and the mall has plenty of parking as well. Both are in a good central spot for a bite to eat also.

Let me know what you guys think.
