Nothing. Looking back I've acted in ways I wish I hadn't but they were learning experiences not wrong decisions; I didn't know any better. I'm content with who and I am and I wouldn't have gotten here if anything had changed.

edit: I take that back. I wish I hadn't just seen Solly in a dress and wig.

^funny I came in here to post the same thing.

I regret no decisions, I like who I am today and know that I wouldn't be the person I am were it not for every decision, bad or good that I've made. I can't see any changes putting me in a better place. I'm tempted to say I wish I'd started doing my hard math classes sooner, but if I did, I probably would have ended up graduating college, which would have dramatically changed my future for the worse.

IMO, if you like the person you are, you shouldn't regret any choice you've made since they were all necessary in your self formation.

Not relocating to Sur in Oman in my 20's - great job, fishing and business - all because I didn't have the balls to emigrate. That's the stand out for me.

Women, money, all other job opportunities are just things I didn't have the experience to understand at the time. I do regret not cutting some people out of my life sooner too, but I got there in the end.

What life choices do you regret?

I regret spending my 4 years of high school in an "it's complicated" relationship with a dumb slut. And worse yet, we are still in contact.

Re: What life choices do you regret?

Nothing of large significance.

One thing i realized though was that one should never let desperation guide a decision. Especially when the risk is jail time...no matter how remote. Life will move on and a better solution will appear in time.

Not taking high school more serious and wish I had gone straight to college.

Re: What life choices do you regret?

My biggest regret is not caring. I had a long stretch of life where I just didn't give a shit about myself and/or my future. Now I feel stuck.

Good job, me.

However, I recently came up with a plan to change everything. The wheels have been set in motion... just gotta get the job to make the magic happen!

In the first few years of my career, I had a lot of regrets, but everything's worked out pretty well so I can't complain about things professionally.

Personally...
- been more outgoing in college and after
- learned to budget better in the first few years after college
- this might sound strange, but I kind of wish I'd smoked more weed and relaxed more. I just turned 28 and I'm realizing I spent the majority of my 20s too anxious/high strung.

Aside from that, I think I've done okay.

robbing with a sword is a good thing
