Audi thinks the S6 can compete? I think it competes very well.

Zero to 100 mph: 9.2 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 16.1 sec
Rolling start, 560 mph: 4.9 sec
Top gear, 3050 mph: 2.1 sec
Top gear, 5070 mph: 2.6 sec
Standing -mile: 12.1 sec @ 115 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 155 mph
Braking, 700 mph: 157 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.87 g



F10 M5:

Zero to 60 mph: 3.7 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 8.3 sec
Zero to 150 mph: 18.3 sec
Rolling start, 560 mph: 4.6 sec
Top gear, 3050 mph: 1.8 sec
Top gear, 5070 mph: 2.4 sec
-mile: 12.0 sec @ 122 mph

So far, with my maintenance experiences with my RS 6, I would take the M5. Maintenance seems to be so much simpler on BMW platforms than Audi. Audi wants a special tool to do practically anything. Looks-wise, it's a toss up. They both look amazing.

Yep, it's definitely pre-owned. Sure, maintenance may not be the first thing to come to mind, but it should definitely make the list. Something I didn't think about when I chose the Audi.
